Pidän mielenkiintoisena näiden tutkimusten implikaatioita. Jos oikea dollarilikviditeetti on markkinoilla selvästi matalampaa kuin viralliset luvut antaisivat ymmärtää, niin kuplan puhjetessa tullaan aika rajusti alas.

Tuossa linkittämässäsi artikkelissa ei taida olla mitään uutta. Tuo wash treidaus asia lienee tuttu kaikille vähänkin skeneen perehtyneelle. Esimerkiksi coingeckossa välittäjät on rankattu volyymin luotettavuuden perusteella.
Tuo wash treidaus on ollut täysin tunnettu asia jo vuosia. Varmaan tässäkin ketjussa sitä on käsitenty tai siihen on viitattu monia kertoja.
Kyllä se silti kertoo likviditeetin puutteesta huonossa tilanteessa, vaikka kyseisen tutkimuksen metodit eivät todellakaan ole täydelliset.

Pointti kuitenkin se, että likviditeetin puute on ongelma ja tuo uusi tutkimus sattui silmiin aikaisemmin päivällä.
Onko tuo likviditeetin puute ihan ihan oikein tulkittu? Olen vahvassa käsityksessä, että bitcoinin spot markkina olisi erittäin likviidi, koska merkittävien välittäjien volyymit ovat miljardiluokaa päivittäin ja kauppaa käydään 24/7.

Suurimmat ongelmat eliminoi jo pelkästään sillä, että käyttää kaikkein tunnetuimpia/suurimpia voluumiltaan olevia exchangeja sekä treidaa niillä coineilla, joissa sitä vaihtoa on paljon. Ja käy kauppaa pelkästään USD-pareilla.
