The renovation and renovation work has been underway since the beginning of the year Object 13 , a former aircraft hangar (built in 1936/1937) from the time of the 1st Republic. After completion of the general renovation from summer 2021, this building will finally unite all parts of the IKT-Abt / HLogZ We in one place - and thus the information and communication technology workshop & system workshop for troops radio, which is located in HÖRSCHING, on the VOGLER air base, will hopefully be part of the Military history.
The completion of this general renovation is planned for the end of May . There is also time pressure, because in the course of the introduction of the “Tactical Communication Network” (TCN) in the armed forces - the TCN enables the small unit to form a digital command network that provides information from sensors and troops as well as commands to commanders and staffs without delay (source: TD article: The way to digital communication) - here the central shelter installation workshop ÖBH is operated, in which the commissioned company KAPSCH BusinessCom carries out the installation of the system components of the TCN.
After installation by the KAPSCH company, the systems in HLogz We are supplemented by the assigned component components of the Austrian Federal Armed Forces and the deployment systems are delivered to the new owners (source: TD article see above).
Obst Ing. Alfred KASER, MSD, MSc, Commander HLogZ We: “The renovation is on schedule, the construction phase is finished. The ICT service has already moved to the renovated offices. The infrastructure of the future IKTWkst & SysWKst troop radio is currently being refurbished.
Everyone lends a hand to speed up the move. From department heads to apprentices, everyone is committed to completing the MAI degree. The building will then be completely renovated, so that the KAPSCH BusinessCom company can start installing the TCN system in the central shelter installation workshop ÖBH ” ."
