Onko yhtiöillä tapana pitää näitä parin kuukauden hiljaisuuksia normaalin liiketoiminnan lomassa? Hyzonhan ei tee IPOa 4 kertaa vuodessa. Yhtiöt kyllä usein ajoittavat näitä uutisia itselleen sopiville ajankohdille, mutta jos tämä Hyzonin tapa on “normaali”, niin sittenhän siinä on 4x2kk hiljaista aikaa joka vuosi, eli 8kk vuodesta ollaan kertomatta mitään. Ei kuulosta ihan normaalilta. Jopen äänellä: Pidetään (hulluja) investoijia (hulluja) jännityksessä. Korjatkaa, jos olen väärässä.

SEC sääntöjen puitteissa jenkkilässä pörssifirmoilla on hiljainen jakso aina uuden kvartaalin viimeisellä kolmanneksella ja päättyy siihen, kun firma pistää kvarttaalirapsan pihalle. Tuo jakso ei kuitenkaan taida olla niin tarkka, kuin IPOon liittyvä on. Kyllähän tuo tuo pahimmillaan sitten 28 + 45 päivää kertaa 4 hiljaisuutta firman suunnalta, jos niin haluatat (45 päivää kvartaalin päättymisestä taytyy tulla rapsa ulos). Onhan tuo aika hölmöä menoa, mutta jotkin firmat varmasti tätä käyttävät myös hyväkseen, eli silloin ei tarvitse koko ajan vastailla IR kautta retail sijoittajille :slight_smile:

Yes the agreement was signed in November 2021. TC Energy tweeted it today, maybe trying to capture some of the halo from the Nikola news. I always like to see that the important partners remain interested. Some deals may drop off silently or some folks may accuse a company of making up partnerships. Not sure if these are also subtle reminders to Hyzon to hurry up, which is good too.

This is… should I say, quite interesting point, for at least for few reasons:

  • Tesla doesn’t have anything for busses & lighter “trucks” such as for waste management
  • At the moment Tesla has only BEV truck on pipeline
  • Tesla doesn’t have any presence outside the US of A (other than “consumer” cars)

Agree the article is very noncommittal and long-winded. He makes no mention of Hyzon/Horizon’s experience, global footprint, contracts, institutional investors who obviously find this investable. Just some DD here and there, and helps to see what is being said. Good to be compared to Tesla though, rather than the tiresome comparisons to NKLA. Here is the author’s LinkedIn:
