Kilpailua todellakin riittää ja näen sen myös positiiviseksi. Kokonaiskuvaa on vaikea saada kun kenttä on niin laaja Hyzonilla. Useimmat yritykset ovat keskittyneet vaan tiettyyn maanosaan.
Hyzon menee sinne ensin, missä infran rakentaminen edistyy ja vedyn saatavuus on turvattu yhteistyösopmuksin. Yhteistyö NZ, Australia ja Saudit hyviä esimerkkejä. Tehokkaat polttokennot ja se että tuotanto saadaan tulevina vuosina vauhtiin eri tehtaissa ei ole yhtään hullumpi juttu.
Hyzonin suunnitelmissa on laajentua joka kolkkaan. “Ajettele isosti ja etene pikkuhiljaa” strategialla.
Hyzon tekee yhteistyötä sekä Euroopassa että USAssa suurimpien rekkavalmistajien kanssa.
Euroopassa melkein kaikki class 8 kärkisijoilla v 2020 olevat ovat lähteneet mukaan kehittämään vetyrekkoja yhdessä muiden kanssa. Eli kaikki eivät voi olla väärässä? Mielenkiintoista nähdä miten MAN ja Scania etenevät, onko tietoa? Saa nähdä miten vetyistäminen vaikuttaa markkinaosuuksiin.

Hopefully in that time he has finalized some deliveries in Australia (such as Hiringa, BLK Auto, Fortescue, or Woodside) and, as you all note, France. Quiet period presumably started December 17 so hopefully there is new news from them we will hear in Q4/annual ER.
Wild configuration: “In addition to reducing the weight and costs, Hyzon says the new storage system can be configured to hold varying numbers of hydrogen tanks. The smallest version can hold five tanks and can be extended to seven tanks because of its modular design. A separate version can hold 10 tanks, appropriate for trucks driving longer distances.
While these configurations are mounted completely behind the cab, another configuration allows for an additional two tanks to be mounted to each side of the truck, extending the vehicle’s range without diminishing the size of the trailer.
The development of this technology was a cross-Atlantic collaboration between Hyzon’s European and U.S. teams, with the company planning to produce this new system in both its Rochester, N.Y., and Groningen, Netherlands, facilities. The technology will be implemented in Hyzon’s vehicles world-wide.
Hyzon also expects to license this new system to other commercial vehicle companies. As part of the Hyzon Zero Carbon Alliance, a global consortium of companies active along the hydrogen value chain, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) are expected to have access to the technology.

Big names in the private sector are also supporters of the startup. Amazon’s Climate Pledge Fund and Bill Gates-led Breakthrough Energy Ventures have invested in multiple venture capital rounds backing ZeroAvia. Alaska Airlines’ Alaska Air Group joined them in a VC round announced in December.
The startup has raised $115 million. Other recent investors include United Airlines, AP Ventures, Horizons Ventures, Summa Equity and Shell Ventures.

Euroopan tehtaan arvioidaan tuottavan 500-1000 rekkaa. Kiinassa ei komponenteista ole pulaa ja voisi olettaa Kiinan vetävän helposti useita satoja rekkoja. Ensi vuodelle oli MOU tehty 400 rekan tilauksesta Kiinaan. Jotain toimituksia tulee varmasti myös Pohjois-Amerikkaan kun vetyasemiakin nousee jo kesällä. Taiwaniin ensimmäiset rekat ym.
Kerrotaanhan siinä että tulos on pienempi kuin ennusteissa. Miten paljon se sitten tässä vaiheessa merkkaa, en osaa sanoa. Kyse on alkuvaiheen yhtiöstä jonka on saatava määriä ylös mahdollisimman nopeasti.
