Here are the final list of questions that I sent to $IonQ head of IR Jordan Shapiro for Q&A at Quantum Korea 2024: (I filtered out some questions that seemed not going to be answered since some of the questions required confidential information which violates the SEC law) 1. Will IonQ be able to demonstrate photonic interconnect by the end of this year like Peter mentioned on Q1 earnings call? 2. From when the photonic interconnect technology gets applied to IonQ’s quantum computers? Which AQ model? (256AQ? 384AQ? 1024AQ?) 3. Will it mature in time to be applied to the systems that require it? (Monroe’s recent patent showed that the technology had 97% entanglement fidelity, seems to have not enough maturity yet) 4. Please expand on the comments made by Peter Chapman about taking over loads from NVIDIA. Is hybrid quantum processing being tested? Are there plans to deploy this for AI at scale? 5. Please update investors on the Dell partnership and how Dell’s Salesforce, as Peter previously stated, will help us sell quantum computers? 6. Does IonQ have enough cash until turning to profitability? 7. When do you expect to reach BEP(brake even point)? 8. Regarding the 500M dollar shelf offering, what kind of companies are being considered as a IonQ’s M&A candidate? 9. Were there any consideration of IonQ being acquired by bigger firm? 10. Why was the technological update webminar canceled and when will it be rescheduled? 11. Recently Q-CTRL published that by using their software on IBM’s 127 qubit QPU, they were able to outperform of optimization problems than Quantinuum & D-Wave. Is IonQ working on SW, algorithm side just as Q-CTRL is doing? (Q-CTRL’s news = https://q-ctrl.com/blog/q-ctrl-transforms-quantum-advantage-outlook-breaking-previous-records-for-optimization-problems-and-outperforming-competitive-technologies…) 12. It seems IonQ have hired a lot of marketing & sales people including CRO Rima which cost a lot, but when do you expect to see results such as big deals? 13. Will Chris Monroe and JungSang Kim disclose his stock sales, if not, then why not? 14. The IP contract with Duke ends on 2026, July. Is IonQ planning to renew the contract? If not, what are the plans? 15. Is IonQ collaborating with ARLIS at the University of Maryland? 16. What operational differences will Peter Chapman have in the Chairman of the board of directors & CEO role versus just the CEO? 17. What is IonQ’s plan on building quantum data center and new office in Arlesheim, Switzerland? 18. Does IonQ have a plan to create a quantum accelerated supercomputer having CPU + GPU + QPU just as Nvidia is doing currently? (related article: https://nvidianews.nvidia.com/news/nvidia-accelerates-quantum-computing-centers-worldwide-with-cuda-q-platform…) 19. What are your thoughts on Quantinuum’s recent result with 56 qubit H2 quantum computer? And on Harvard - MIT spinoff QuEra computing’s recent selling of its QC to AIST which the contract amount is around 41M USD? (Quantinuum related article: https://quantinuum.com/news/quantinuums-h-series-hits-56-physical-qubits-that-are-all-to-all-connected-and-departs-the-era-of-classical-simulation…) (QuEra Computing related article: https://quera.com/press-releases/aist-selects-quera…)
