Nel ASA (Nel, OSE: NEL) is in advanced commercial
negotiations with two independent customers about sale contracts, each withapproximately value of EUR 3 million. The scope for one of the contracts is an alkaline electrolyser system and the other is hydrogen fueling modules. Both potential contracts are in Europe.
Negotiations are ongoing, and there can be no assurance that the respective parties thereto will reach agreements on terms of supply contracts that are
mutually acceptable.
Oslo, 23 March 2022) Nel ASA (“Nel” or the “Company”) has retained Carnegie AS
and Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc as joint bookrunners (together the
“Managers”) to advise on and effect a private placement of new ordinary shares
in the Company (the “Offer Shares”) to raise gross proceeds of approximately NOK
1,500 million (the “Private Placement”). The subscription price per Offer Share
in the Private Placement (the “Subscription Price”) will be determined by the
Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”) on the basis of an accelerated book
-building process conducted by the Managers.
Nel is experiencing ever-increasing interest and opportunities within the
hydrogen industry and has more than doubled the addressable pipeline to USD 12
billion from the end of Q3-21 to the end of Q4-21. The Company is committed to
capitalizing on its position as a technology frontrunner and will continue to
invest in building scale to develop the organization and the fueling, alkaline
and PEM technology platforms. The net proceeds from the Private Placement will
be used for continued investments in production capacity, organizational growth
linked to order intake and tender activity, and general corporate purposes.
The application period in the Private Placement will commence today, 23 March
2022 at 16:30 CET and close on 24 March 2022 at 08:00 CET. The Managers and the
Company may, however, at any time resolve to close or extend the application
period on short or without notice. If the application period is shortened or
extended, any other dates referred to herein may be amended accordingly.
The Private Placement will be directed towards selected Norwegian and
international investors
According to Finansavisen’s experience, the brokers spent a short time collecting NOK 1.5 billion, more specifically 30 minutes. The subscription price was set at NOK 15.30, which corresponds to a discount of 9 percent.

OG opens 350 bar hydrogen filling point in Amsterdam
The first hydrogen filling point for large-scale transport (350 bar) in Amsterdam is a fact. This filling point is located at Australiahavenweg 116 in Amsterdam and is available 24/7.
The filling point is unique, because passenger cars, delivery vans and trucks can be served. Thanks to modifications to the station, this is the first public hydrogen station in Amsterdam where 350 bar and 700 bar of hydrogen can be refueled. The hydrogen filling station was supplied by NEL Hydrogen from Denmark. NEL is one of the largest proven suppliers in Europe and has a lot of experience with refueling 350 bar vehicles.
OG is currently active with various new hydrogen projects. Planned locations include Leeuwarden, Schiphol, Borne, Heerenveen, Delfzijl, Breda and various places in Drenthe.
OG has the ambition to become one of the largest suppliers in the field of hydrogen. OG is therefore involved in the production of 100% green hydrogen from solar energy from the Netherlands.
Europe is the global leader in hydrogen production, and Nel is the world´s biggest electrode manufacturer, with products in 80 countries. Now the European Commission is aiming to make 20m tonnes of hydrogen a year by 2030, which will require between 120 and 200 GW of electrolyser capacity. In 2000, global electrolyser capacity was just 100 MW.
Nel´s new fully automated electrode plant at Herøya in southern Norway can produce 500 MW of capacity per year, and that can be ramped up to 2 GW. By 2025, Nel is targeting to increase its global production capacity to 10 GW, with new electrode factories in continental Europe, Asia, and America.

The combined value of the purchase orders is approximately USD 1.5 million. The hydrogen fueling station (H2Station™) will serve light- and heavy-duty vehicles in the British Columbia region, Canada, and are scheduled to be operational during 2023.
The purpose of the network, which is named Nordic Industry Center, is to create an arena for knowledge sharing, project development, and acceleration of Norwegian companies that want to take part in Chinese mega projects and grow their business in China.
Fertilizer company Yara also signed the agreement on yesterday’s meeting, and other large Norwegian industry companies are in process of joining the network as well. The Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), Global Green Hydrogen Organization and the municipality of Oslo has also signed up to the partnership.

Jokokohan Nel voisi tulla Plugin ja Bloomin perässä ja ruveta puhumaan kustannusten vähentämisestä ja siitä, kuinka päästään tekemään liiketoiminnalla rahaa. Pfeffenhausen, May 11, 2022: Hy2B Hydrogen GmbH - with its shareholders Hynergy Invest GmbH, BayWa AG, Tyczka Hydrogen GmbH, the districts of Landshut and Munich as well as the energy cooperatives Niederbayern eG, Isar eG and Unterhaching eG - commissioned the construction of a five megawatt electrolysis plant with compressor and filling stations in Pfeffenhausen . The start of production for green hydrogen from Bavaria in the HyPerformer model region HyBayern in the districts of Landshut, Ebersberg and Munich is expected for the second half of 2023. Hy2B has commissioned Kraftanlagen Energies & Services GmbH as general contractor with the construction of a five megawatt electrolysis plant, compressor and filling station. An alkaline electrolyser from the Norwegian company NEL ASA (NEL) will form the basis for the electrolysis system.
