In a filing late Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Nikola acknowledged seven “inaccurate” statements that Milton, who left the company in September, allegedly made between July 2016 and July 2020 about the company’s progress developing electric and hydrogen-powered trucks. It also listed two other statements attributed to the company during that time when Milton was executive chairman.

Tämä. Esim. Nikolan kanssa samoihin aikoihin listautunut Hyliion on mielestäni paljon paremmassa tilanteessa. Heidän järjestelmän pystyy liittämään jo olemassa olevaan rekkaan, joten investointikynnys huomattavasti pienempi.

Tulossa ilmeisesti jo 2022 kaasulla(RNG) toimiva rekka, jossa range 1300 mailia + tankkausverkosto olemassa. Myöhemmin tulee mahdollisuus käyttää myös vetyä jos se tulee hinnoittelun puolesta järkeväksi.

It was announced last year via the US SEC that the Oil Fund had bought 10 million shares when Nikola went public, but at the end of last year, the Oil Fund, according to Nasdaq , had 17,038,863 shares in Nikola.

This means that the fund has at some point acquired Nikola after the listing. It is not known when the Petroleum Fund increased its holdings.

The value of the Petroleum Fund’s holdings in Nikola was NOK 2.23 billion at New Year, according to the holdings lists that the Petroleum Fund presents annually. Thus, the Petroleum Fund owned 4.44 percent of the truck manufacturer
Thus, the fund is a larger shareholder measured in percentage in Nikola than in many other companies. The fund is evenly distributed in the markets and usually owns between one and two percent in companies, but according to the mandate, it can own up to ten percent of an individual company.

Nel CEO Jon André Løkke is positive that the Oil Fund has increased its position in Nel’s large customer.

  • It is difficult to see it as negative that the Oil Fund sees the value in Nikola. It’s just nice. We also still have an investment in Nikola of around ten million shares. It is not primarily a financial investment, says Løkke to E24.

Hydrogen fuel used in fuel cell Class 8 trucks like Nikola plans for 2023 emit no emissions, critical in places like California. Regulations there take an increasing number of diesel-powered trucks off the road over the next 20 years in favor of zero-emission trucks. Nikola plans to publicly distribute Arizona-produced hydrogen fuel in the Golden State.
“As the potential partners have hesitated [or] aren’t ready to move as fast as we are, we have not slowed down our work at all,” Russell said. “We have all the building blocks in place.”

Russell and the board canceled the Badger electric pickup truck and took a $14 million write-off to shut down a Powersports division.
“What we have decided is that those things are no longer taking resources or focus away from our core deliverables.”
Russell means battery-electric trucks, hydrogen-powered fuel cell trucks and hydrogen fueling stations.

The Tre, based on the Iveco S-Way, is built in a joint venture with the CNH Industrial (NYSE: CNHI) subsidiary in Ulm, Germany. CNHI is in talks to sell Iveco to China’s FAW Jiefang, Reuters reported in January.
CNHI did not respond to a FreightWaves request for comment. And Russell?.. cannot comment

Niin sen eilen illalla tulkkasin, mutta itselle tuli vähän wtf ajatus mieleen, että nytkö jo on rahat loppu? Kyllä tämä on kuitenkin varmasti tehty sillä ajatuksella, että se myös toteutetaan lähiaikoina.

  • kurssi reagoi afterissa, mutta ei mitenkään dramaattisesti
  • itsellä ei ole positiota, mutta olen seurannut tarkasti sitä silmälläpitäen, josko siitä infrahankkeesta tulisi lupausten mukaan totta. Koko ajan se näyttää kuitenkin huonommalta, kun vertaa niihin annettuihin “aikataululupauksiin”. Ilman sitä tämä projekti on viemärissä - pelkällä autolla ovat takamatkalla.

Trevor Milton, who stepped down as executive chair seven months ago in the wake of a short seller’s report and online accusations, sold 3.5m Nikola shares on Wednesday at the closing price of $13.89. The transaction appeared on the Securities and Exchange Commission’s website two days later after business hours, suggesting a wish to avoid publicising the sale.

The price was above the 52-week low of $10.51, but a fraction of the stock’s June peak of $93.99.
