Nokia Bell Labs is pioneering new advances in optical coherence tomography (OCT), which uses focused beams of light to peer under the skin and capture 3D images of what lies beneath. This OCT scanner would read the minutest shifts in the microparticles’ shape and size. Automated machine learning algorithms would then track the location of the microparticle and monitor changes in biochemical levels over time. Moody’s Investors Service (“Moody’s”) has completed a periodic review of the ratings of Nokia Oyj and other ratings that are associated with the same analytical unit. The review was conducted through a portfolio review discussion held on 9 July 2021 in which Moody’s reassessed the appropriateness of the ratings in the context of the relevant principal methodology(ies), recent developments, and a comparison of the financial and operating profile to similarly rated peers. The review did not involve a rating committee. This publication does not announce a credit rating action and is not an indication of whether or not a credit rating action is likely in the near future.
Key rating considerations are summarized as follows: Nokia Oyj’s (Nokia) rating reflects the company’s significant scale and relevance, with a top-three global market position in wireless and fixed network equipment; broad geographical diversification, with sales well spread across all major regions; improving operating performance and cash flow; the potential for additional margin improvement beyond 2021; and strong liquidity and balanced financial policy. The rating also takes into account the cyclicality of the telecom equipment industry; the company’s exposure to intense competition and technology risk; its high investment needs and R&D costs, combined with ongoing restructuring costs; and the execution risk associated with the new strategy.

Lexuksen postaama juttu Nokian rakentamasta Bharti Airtel -verkosta (>1 Gbps) on noteerattu laajalti Intian lehdistössä. Eihän tuossa mitään ihmeellistä enää ole, mutta positiivista uutisointia joka tapauksessa.
Samaan aikaan kiinalaisten puoliksi omistamassa Afrikassa rakennetaan muutakin kuin Huaweita. Periksi ei siis ole annettu – ainakaan vielä. Veikkaanpa, että Afrikan kriittisen infran rakentamisen taustalla muhii myös kasvavissa määrin geopoliittista vääntöä. Hyvä niin.

Oma odotukseni posarille oli torstaiksi kaksi viikkoa ennen osaria, kuten hyvinä aikoina oli tapana. Tämäkin sopii
Katsoin eilen johdannaistilannetta ja perjantaille on asetettu isoja panoksia nousun puolesta (open interest). Iso osa oli asetettu jopa 7 dollarin tasolle ja sinne tuskin päästään… tai mistä sen aina tietää, jos wsb porukka intoutuu.

Menee yksinjupimiseksi, mutta sieltähän se odotettu positiivinen tulosvaroitus eli posari nyt sitten tuli. Saattaa kurssi liikahtaa jo tänään.
Arvauskisalle voisi silti olla tilaus, sillä nythän Nokia vasta varoitti, että muuttaa ohjeistusta 29.7.2021.
Huutokaupassa nyt eilinen 4.622 → 4.70. Aika laimeata. Taisi olla posarin odotus niin suuri, ettei enää yllättänyt.

Kertooko tämä myös jenkkilän tilanteen vai ainoastaan Helsingin osalta?
Onkohan Helsingistä tiedossa myös ne alle 0,5 %:n positiot? Ja toisaalta itse olen aika skeptinen jenkkien osalta, onko siis tiedossa sieltä todelliset shortit, ja en siis pelkästään Nokian osalta. Eihän siellä tunnu olevan oikein otetta esimerkiksi nakushorttailun osalta.
Mutta jos on shortteja, en itsekään usko viimeaikaisen kehityksen takia et niitä olisi paljon. Tai sitten joku taho on toiminut aikailla tyhmästi.
Juu hyvin olit kartalla ja tämä tulosvaroituksesta varoittaminen on hieno pelimiehen temppu Pekalta.

Tämä saattaa tietää tavoitehinoihin nousua, jopa Indellä, kunhan nyt Q2 luvut tulee julki loppukuusta.

Tämä alkaa nyt teknisesti olemaan hyvin oleellinen taso. Kun purkaantuu tuon 4,70-4,80 € päälle, niin sitten näyttää hyvin hyvälle. Voisi olettaa että tuolle tasolle löytyy vielä vastusta.
