Säikähtämisestä puheen ollen tuli mieleen toi perjantain pieni sukellus? Onko tässä syytä huolestua muiden tekiöiden takia että sukeltaminen jatkuisi?

Kyllähän tää varmaan laskee, kun tuloja diskontataan aika pitkältä tulevaisuudesta ja korot samalla nousee jenkkilässä, mutta ei itseäni niin hirveästi kiinnosta lyhyellä tähtäimellä. Paitsi ehkä ostomielessä jos saa fyrkkaa jostain irrotettua.
ps. pelästyin että tuo mainittu vakuutusyhtiö oli ruotsissa joku snägäri, mutta sehän itseasiassa on oikeasti ruotsin isoin vakuutusyhtiö:

Tuoreesta Redeyen Neonode-kommentista. Tosiaan Neonoden core taitaa olla muualla, mutta katsotaan tulevatko kovemmin tähän mukaan.
In the new Remote Sensing segment, Neonode claims it has a disruptive software solution for DMS and interior sensing that can run on the cheapest processor and the cheapest cameras, i.e. having the lowest system cost. Car OEMs have a lot of other requests for their DMS cameras besides the mandated safety functions that Neonode supports (e.g. seatbelt sensors, adaptive HUDs, audio control and climate control etc.). Many of these functions do not need eye tracking. Competitors that have done DMS for years have larger real data sets to train their algorithms with. Neonode instead relies on synthetic data to shorten development cycles.
Nevertheless, Neonode’s Remote Sensing is essentially a start-up with no royalties before 2024 at the very earliest (Redeye’s estimate). Neonode says it is talking to several OEMs that have previously chosen competing solutions. All of them were in a hurry and had few choices when they made their first selections. Deadlines are still tight. The EU Commission still refuses to give respite to the car OEMs. The first customer is the hardest, but Neonode thinks after that, the word will spread. We have not assigned any value to Remote Sensing at the moment and view it as optionality.

Tästä ei ole paljon foorumilla kait hypetetty? Ilmeisesti kukaan ei osaa varsinaisesti odottaa mitään ihmeellistä tai ollaan tietämättömiä kuin ellun kanat mitä kilpailukentän mullistavaa sieltä nyt voi tulla?

Lähinnä pelottaa, että vie fokusta perus DMS henkilöautoille -kilpailutuksista.
Isot Seeing pojat naureskeli lähikaupan nurkalla meikäläiselle kun hehkutin tätä. Kuulemma siellä ollaan jo tehty tätä pitkäääään ja oltu vakuutusyhtiöidenkin kanssa kimpassa.
Mutta sanoisin että lähtökohtaisesti tämä voi yllättää vain positiivisesti. En tosin usko esim. että mitään diilejä tuolla tullaan julkistamaan (uskon että jos niistä tiedetään niin niitä olisi pitänyt julkistaa silloin kun tieto niistä on tullut.

Cipialla lähdössä hommat käyntiin Kiinassa… taisivat rekrytä väkeäkin tuossa äskettäin.
Tämäkin Cipian Tier1 vaikuttaa vähän eksoottisemmalta.

Finally, I get to show you what we’ve been working tirelessly on for the last two years.
On Thursday, March 11th, 09:00 CET, I will be unveiling the AIS in a live online launch.
The idea for a system like the AIS goes all the way back to when we founded Smart Eye, 22 years ago. Since then, our eye tracking software has become world leading in driver monitoring systems for passenger cars all over the world. And now, the time has come to extend our technology to the vehicles where I think it might make the greatest difference.
