We’re excited about the first round of deployment for the Kempower new Flex Satellite. These deployments will feature four dispensers per site, with each dispenser offering one NACS and one CCS connector. The total power available at each site will be 800kW. This setup allows for flexible charging configurations, such as two vehicles receiving 400kW each, or four vehicles sharing 200kW. While this capacity exceeds the current market demand, our goal is to create future-proofed sites that can support the advancements in electric vehicles.
We’ve been awarded a total of 20 sites through the NEVI program, with only our KY site currently obligated. Our very first Kempower DCFC site is scheduled to open in Manchester, KY, around October. Please keep an eye on the channel for more details as we get closer to the launch. This site will be fully pull-through, covered, and designed to cater to the EV driver’s needs. We’re thrilled to launch our first NEVI site and showcase the best of charging technology."
