Kummatkin sekä Volvon tulos ( oliko peräti Volvon oma ennätys ? ), olettaisin. Viimeisen viikon - kolmen aikana SEB, Goldman Sachs, Handelsbanken (SHB) ja ovat Bernstein pudottaneet tavoitehintojaan, jotkut alle 30 kruununkin. Osoittaa, miten käänteitä on vaikea ennakoida vaikka niitä seuraakin ns työn puolesta.

Estimate and valuation changes
We raise EBIT by 18-20% for 2024E-26E following Volvo’s decision to offload the
Polestar shares. As a result, the cash flow profile in our model improves, leading
to a much stronger balance sheet position. Although the automotive markets
remain challenging, we believe that Volvo can create its own growth thanks to
the new model introductions (including the EX30). We raise our
recommendation to Buy (Hold) with a multiples-based target price of SEK 45.
Our target price is based on the average peer EV/EBIT and P/E multiples for
2025E. We see an additional SEK 11.5 potential should the company deliver on its 2026 targets and get the loan from Polestar repaid. Further, we estimate that thePolestar shares distributed to Volvo Ca
rs’ shareholders could carry a value of SEK 3-7 per share.
Volvo Cars hade försäljningstillväxt på 10 procent i januari

Biltillverkaren Volvo Cars försäljning växte med 10 procent i januari. Det var den 17:e månaden i rad med tillväxt för den västsvenska biltillverkaren.
Den globala försäljningen var 53 402 bilar, enligt ett pressmeddelande.
Försäljningen av Recharge-modeller med helt elektrisk drivlina eller som laddhybrid var 19 171 bilar under månaden. Recharge-bilarna stod för 36 procent av alla sålda bilar globalt för Volvo Cars, medan andelen helt elektriska bilar var 17 procent.
Försäljningen i Europa ökade 8 procent till 23 141 bilar. I Kina blev det en ökning på 36 procent till 16 042 bilar. I USA var det i princip ingen tillväxt vid 7 716 bilar. Övriga marknader minskade försäljningen med 15 procent till 6 503 bilar.

VolvoCarsilla ainakin alkaa voimakkaalla kasvulla tämä vuosi, kuten vuosiraportissa viime viikolla ennakoitiin. Tokihan Volvon johdolla oli tammikuu/24 myyntiluvut jo silloin tiedossa, joten helppo oli kasvua luvata.

The Board of Directors of Volvo Car AB (publ) (“Volvo Cars”) today resolved to propose a distribution of 62.7 percent of Volvo Cars’ shareholding in Polestar Automotive Holding UK PLC (“Polestar” and the “Polestar Shareholding”) to Volvo Cars’ shareholders at its 2024 Annual General Meeting (“AGM”). If the AGM approves the proposal, Volvo Cars’ shareholding in Polestar will amount to an ownership stake of 18.0 percent of Polestar’s total outstanding shares.
Volvo Cars reports sales of 50,315 cars in February, a decline by 2 per cent compared with the same month last year. The main reason for the decline is the timing of the Lunar New Year in China.
In February, Volvo Cars achieved its highest-ever share of electrified models - both in fully electric as well as in plug-in hybrids and fully electric combined. This was mainly driven by the ramp-up of the company’s new fully electric small SUV, the EX30. Fully electric cars constituted 22 per cent of all cars sold globally during the month, while the combined sales of fully electric cars and plug-in hybrids accounted for 44 per cent.

Volvo Cars reports sales of 78,970 cars in March, an increase of 25 per cent compared to the same month last year, and an all-time high for global sales during a single month. Volvo Cars’ new fully electric small SUV the EX30 contributed to the sales growth, as well as a strong sales performance in Europe and the US.
