Tässä odotuksia huomisesta Q3 tuloksesta:
Carnegie expects Nel’s ebitda result for the third quarter to be minus 124 million.
DNB Markets expects an EBITDA result of minus 103 million.
ABG Sundal Collier is close to DNB Markets, and expects Nel to achieve an EBITDA result of approximately minus NOK 100 million.
According to the Infront consensus, Nel is expected to report an EBITDA of minus NOK 99 million out of a turnover of NOK 175 million for the third quarter of 2021.

“Nel ASA (Nel) reported all-time high revenues of NOK 229.3 million in the third quarter of 2021, up 55% from NOK 147.7 million in the same quarter of 2020 and an EBITDA of negative NOK 113 million (Q3 2020: -42.1) incl. one-offs and ramp-up cost. This includes costs relating to the ramp-up at the new Herøya facility, which will commence production for Nikola and Everfuel in the fourth quarter. The order backlog ended at NOK 1 014 million, up 8% from same quarter last year. The potential pipeline of orders continues to grow, currently amounting to more than USD 6 billion and Nel reiterates the strong long-term outlook and growth prospects for the sector.”
Liikevaihto ylitti odotukset 30% ja EBITDA pakkasella vähemmän suhteessa liikevaihtoon mitä odotettiin.
Ei siis ihan niin katastrofi mitä moni varmaan odotti.

Mielestäni tulos oli monen pettymyskvartaalin jälkeen hyvä. Liikevaihto kasvanut vahvasti, mutta ei johtanut tilauskannan supistumiseen, joten uuttaa tilauskantaa on tullut hyvin sisään. Kassa palaa, mutta sitä on onneksi hyvin jäljellä. Ilahduttavimmat kohdat olivat mielestäni Heroyan eteneminen sekä Nikolan ja Evefuelin tilausten toteuttamisen aloittaminen q4n aikana. Nikolan sopparihan taitaa olla yksi isoimmista yksittäisistä tilauksista Nelillä, jos oikein muistan.
Olen jo puoli vuotta ollut ilman Nel-omistusta, mutta tämän osarin jälkeen saatan harkita uuden position rakentelun aloittamista…

Nel Hydrogen US has received a purchase order for PEM electrolyzer equipment from an undisclosed, leading stationary fuel cell OEM. The purchase order has a value of approximately USD 2.6 million, and the equipment will be delivered between 2022 and 2024. Nel will also be providing design consulting services as part of the project.
