American Hydro, part of Wärtsilä Corporation, has been awarded a major contract to perform rehabilitation services and complete the upgrade and refurbishment of the Unit 5 & 15 turbines at Ameren’s historic Keokuk Hydroelectric plant in Iowa, USA. The order with Ameren Corporation was booked in July.

The technology group Wärtsilä has received yet another order for its advanced Cloud Simulation solution.The Costamare Maritime Training Services (Costamare MTS) centre in Greece is the latest facility to take advantage of the technology developed by Wärtsilä Voyage, enabling its students to continue their training despite travel and assembly restrictions imposed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The order with Wärtsilä Voyage was placed in September 2020.
Kilpaileva yhtiö MAN Energy Solutions, on valittu suomen korvettien moottorien toimittajaksi.

Ei tuosta kannata kovin ihmeissään olla, Wärtsilällä ei ole (ainakaan vielä 
) mitään noihin spekseihin osuvaa…
Ainut lähellä on todella vanha W20 (perusmoottori 90-luvulta, toki päivityksiä tullut useita). Mutta nopeus alue 1000-1200 rpm ja luultavasti military käyttöön aivan liian hidas kuorman otto.
Toinen vaihtoehto olisi uusi yhteistyössä Liebherrin kanssa tehtävä W14 joka on High speed, mutta siinä loppuu 16 sylinterisessäkin tehoalue noihin korvetteihin kesken.

The technology group Wärtsilä has received a repeat energy storage system order totalling 90 MW / 90 MWh from an existing South East Asian customer. The solution will provide much needed flexibility and reliable grid support and will allow the further integration of energy from renewable sources, such as solar and wind power. The Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) order was booked by Wärtsilä in Q3 2020.The system includes Wärtsilä’s propriety software and hardware solutions. The company’s GridSolv Max solution is a standardised solution that provides flexible and modular storage for the core hardware assets within Wärtsilä energy storage systems, including batteries, a safety and fire system, and inverters. Wärtsilä’s GEMS, the leading sophisticated energy management platform, provides the smart digital controls that optimise the entire storage system, enabling reliable, resilient power supply.

The technology group Wärtsilä, the marine industry’s leading LNG solutions and services provider, will supply its advanced Energy Storage System (ESS) to be retrofitted on four Harvey Energy class LNG-fuelled Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs). A fifth vessel in this class was earlier fitted with a Wärtsilä ESS. Louisiana-based Harvey Gulf placed this latest order with Wärtsilä in October.

The technology group Wärtsilä has been awarded a contract for the supply of cargo handling and fuel supply system for two new 98,000 cbm Very Large Ethane Carriers (VLEC) being built at the Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) shipyard in South Korea, with an option for a third vessel. This order follows a similar contract awarded in 2019 for three VLECs, also under construction at Samsung Heavy Industries. Wärtsilä’s unsurpassed experience in this field was a key reason for this repeat order, which was placed in September 2020.

The technology group Wärtsilä has received contracts for a 128 MW power plant in Indonesia. The plant has been ordered by PT Freeport Indonesia, one of the world’s leading mining companies. The extended engineered equipment delivery order comprises fourteen Wärtsilä 34DF dual-fuel generating sets. The order for eight generating sets was placed in June 2020, and a further six generating sets were ordered in September. A consortium consisting of Wärtsilä and PT PP will install, construct and commission the power plant.
The Wärtsilä equipment is scheduled for delivery between July and November 2021. The first seven engines are expected to be officially handed over in March 2022, with the remaining seven to be handed over in July 2022.

Niin mihin aikaan se tulos saadaan, vaikka liekö siinä näkemistä…

Loistava tulos ja näkymät kyllä, Jarkko Ahon ostosuositusta kannatti seurata taas kerran. Jos markkinat olisivat tehokkaat Wärtsilä olisi yli 10 euron lappu.
Aika vaikeesti tulkittava tulos ja näkymät - odotan innolla @Erkki_Vesola kommenttia (tulispa tähän ketjuun 
)! Raportoidussa EPS:issä selkeesti jotain häikkää, tilauskertymä hyvä ja vertailukelpoinen EBIT myös! Liikevaihtoennuste vähän kädenlämpöinen, olisi Ekin liikevaihtoennusteen alapuolella (jos tota 10% vakiota käytetään, että jää sen verran vertailukaudesta toi liikevaihto).
Mä en osaa sanoa tuota kympistä mitään, ehkä vuoden kuluttua…
Mutta kyllä Wärre pääsee ylitse tästä Korona-ajasta kunnialla.
Vanha ja samalla nykyaikainen firma, minkä tuotekehitys on voimakasta.
Saadaan nuo laivat taas liikenteseen yms niin sitte taas alkaa Wärre wärähdellä…
ABB julkisti tänään tuloksen myös ja siellä Marine divisioona on kirjannut Q4:lle ison kaupan.
ABB:n tiedotteesta “Subsequent to the quarter, the business area secured a marine order in excess of $300 million.”
Todennäköisesti joku laivasarja kun noin iso kauppa. Onkohan Wärtsilä vihjaillut tällaisesta, varmaan jotakin hekin tuohon ovat saaneet myytyä
Hyvä tulos. Ei tuo korona nyt niin pahasti runtele Wärtsilää kuin on annettu ymmärtää osakkeen hinnassa ja puheissa. Pian alkaa nousu!

Raportin parhaita puolia olivat tilauskertymä ja oikaistu EBIT-marginaali, kun taas Q3-liikevaihto sekä Q4:n liikevaihto-ohjeistus olivat pettymyksiä.
Just luin, ja aikalailla samat tulkinnat itsellä! Kiinnostaa noi ennustemuutokset kyllä etenkin 2021 ja 2022 osalta. Mutta ne tulee sitten rapsassa
