Harvey Gulf orders Wärtsilä Energy Storage for another four LNG-powered Supply Vessels

The technology group Wärtsilä, the marine industry’s leading LNG solutions and services provider, will supply its advanced Energy Storage System (ESS) to be retrofitted on four Harvey Energy class LNG-fuelled Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs). A fifth vessel in this class was earlier fitted with a Wärtsilä ESS. Louisiana-based Harvey Gulf placed this latest order with Wärtsilä in October.
Samsung Heavy Industries again chooses Wärtsilä cargo handling system design for new VLEC vessels

The technology group Wärtsilä has been awarded a contract for the supply of cargo handling and fuel supply system for two new 98,000 cbm Very Large Ethane Carriers (VLEC) being built at the Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) shipyard in South Korea, with an option for a third vessel. This order follows a similar contract awarded in 2019 for three VLECs, also under construction at Samsung Heavy Industries. Wärtsilä’s unsurpassed experience in this field was a key reason for this repeat order, which was placed in September 2020.

Wärtsilä to add 128 MW of flexible baseload power to enable Indonesian mine expansion

The technology group Wärtsilä has received contracts for a 128 MW power plant in Indonesia. The plant has been ordered by PT Freeport Indonesia, one of the world’s leading mining companies. The extended engineered equipment delivery order comprises fourteen Wärtsilä 34DF dual-fuel generating sets. The order for eight generating sets was placed in June 2020, and a further six generating sets were ordered in September. A consortium consisting of Wärtsilä and PT PP will install, construct and commission the power plant.
The Wärtsilä equipment is scheduled for delivery between July and November 2021. The first seven engines are expected to be officially handed over in March 2022, with the remaining seven to be handed over in July 2022.
Loistava tulos ja näkymät kyllä, Jarkko Ahon ostosuositusta kannatti seurata taas kerran. Jos markkinat olisivat tehokkaat Wärtsilä olisi yli 10 euron lappu.
Aika vaikeesti tulkittava tulos ja näkymät - odotan innolla @Erkki_Vesola kommenttia (tulispa tähän ketjuun )! Raportoidussa EPS:issä selkeesti jotain häikkää, tilauskertymä hyvä ja vertailukelpoinen EBIT myös! Liikevaihtoennuste vähän kädenlämpöinen, olisi Ekin liikevaihtoennusteen alapuolella (jos tota 10% vakiota käytetään, että jää sen verran vertailukaudesta toi liikevaihto).
Mä en osaa sanoa tuota kympistä mitään, ehkä vuoden kuluttua…
Mutta kyllä Wärre pääsee ylitse tästä Korona-ajasta kunnialla.
Vanha ja samalla nykyaikainen firma, minkä tuotekehitys on voimakasta.
Saadaan nuo laivat taas liikenteseen yms niin sitte taas alkaa Wärre wärähdellä…
ABB julkisti tänään tuloksen myös ja siellä Marine divisioona on kirjannut Q4:lle ison kaupan.
ABB:n tiedotteesta “Subsequent to the quarter, the business area secured a marine order in excess of $300 million.”
Todennäköisesti joku laivasarja kun noin iso kauppa. Onkohan Wärtsilä vihjaillut tällaisesta, varmaan jotakin hekin tuohon ovat saaneet myytyä
Niin onhan se nyt selvää, että Wärren liikevaihto tippuu reippasti Q3/2020 vs Q3/2019.
Tuotannon puolen jengistähän on ollut melkoinen määrä lomautettuina.
Itse pidän liikevaihtoa 995Meur hyvänä ja EPS ihan siedettävä.
Wärren osakeet pitää laittaa ylähyllylle ja katsoa taas Juhannuksen 2021 et mitäs kuuluu…

The technology group Wärtsilä’s proven experience in delivering cargo handling systems for gas carriers has been cited as a key consideration in the award of a new contract for Very Large Ethane Carriers (VLEC). The Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) shipyard in South Korea has ordered the complete Wärtsilä cargo handling system design for two new 98,000 cbm VLECs currently under construction, with an option for a third vessel. The order with Wärtsilä was booked in October 2020.
